Mums in business

Today I visited a stay at home mum with a 2 year old girl. This beautiful mum also had a hearing impediment and had overcome a grave medical condition as a child which had involved involuntary seizures. Suffice to say - she’d been through the “ringer”.

We had gotten in touch on the southwest business womens page. This mum needed help setting up her Facebook page, online store and also needed basic advice on which way to turn and her family weren’t being very supportive. When I arrived, this mum threw her arms around me and hugged me, crying hysterically. I had in that moment - two thoughts...

1. I have been there

2. I am so glad I can help this person.

I started this business 5 years ago when I had my own son on the way...it isn’t just about profit. It’s also about helping people. I too have been a young mum not knowing which way to turn. So sleep deprived I couldn’t think straight but still having to earn a living.

I have always thought. What are my magical design powers for if not to help people? I need to make a living like everyone else but I promise to always provide a reliable, fantastic service to anyone that needs me.

I am in this for real. 💜
